Andrew Rosz went out gunning for Paul Newman in the first set of the Top Gun Final. Every point was hard earned. Andrew prevailed 6-0. But Paul raised his level of play in the second set and held serve to make it 4-4. Andrew knew he was in trouble when Paul broke serve to go up 5-4. Andrew used every bit of determination to break back to make it 5-5. Andrew dug down deep to hold serve. Paul won the first point of his service game but sprayed the next two points probably feeling a bit fatigued. Andrew won the next point to make it 15-40. It was now championship point and Andrew ripped a forehand passing shot into the corner that was too hot for Paul to handle. That sealed the match for Andrew who won 6-0,7-5. Andrew wrote: "I can't even begin to describe how difficult it is out there trying to play world-class high-level open tennis at almost 51 years old... But somehow, I managed to pull this match off and come out on top. And now that I really think about it, I can now honestly say, that THIS 2008 Top Gun Championship trophy is now my most cherished trophy of all time, and for all my tennis carreer which spans over 30 years."
