"Alvaro and I have had a few great close battles over the last few years. This match was no different. Alvaro played lights out tennis in the second set. I played my first match of the season with Henry Lewis. After being away from Tennis for almost two months due to Plantar Fascitis w/ aquiles tendonitis I think I need to work on my stamina since I got really tire at the end. Henry is a good guy and a trip to play with. He is probably not the opponent you want to play with after an injury. He has a wide wing span and gets a lot of balls back. Well in the end I won 6-2, 7-5.

"Nelson & I had quite a battle. The first set I thought I was playing very well and was going to cruise along. But then Nelson flipped the switch and turned things around big-time in the second set with some fantastic hitting right on the lines, or just inside the lines. The tie-break could not have been any closer and it all came down to a matter of inches. I was fortunate to come out on top: 6-2, 4-6, 12-10"
